SFS implementation timelines

The Standard Financial Statement launched on 1 March 2017 when several organisations began using the new format.

However, a transition window will run for around 12 months from 1 March 2017 to allow time a wider group of organisations to implement appropriately.

Members of the SFS Pre-launch Governance Group have given the estimated timelines below for their implementation of the SFS.

March 2017
  • AdvicePro (the case recording software began offering a SFS option for its user organisations from 1 March 2017, allowing them to transition when appropriate)
  • The Insolvency Service England and Wales transitioned internal systems to use SFS from mid-March 2017
  • PayPlan
